What Fuels the Secret?
You and your thoughts fuel the Secret. The Secret functions on the premise that your thoughts have a powerful and direct influence on how your body works, your emotions, how you function and how you ultimately make decisions that direct your life.
Thoughts are energy, therefore when positive energy flows from you, positive things can happen. The opposite is also true. Thoughts can determine your success or your failure. That’s the power of your thoughts, and you are the one that controls it. Your thoughts are how you commune with yourself, and depending on your positivity or negativity, you will attract the same kind of energy that you generate. Just think about it: It all comes from you and the power of your thoughts! You can be insecure or be optimistic. It’s all up to you.
The premise of the Secret is simply this: Everything is yours, anything is yours, as long as you believe that it will be yours.
Doing the Secret
When it comes to doing and using the Secret, you can be your own worst enemy. Learn how to fine-tune your thoughts into pure positive energy by doing these steps:
Change your perspective. Sometimes, we can’t control the things that happen to us, but we sure can control how we react to them. Make a choice: Positive or negative reaction? Positive or negative thoughts? It’s up to you. But remember: Generating positive thoughts or energy generates positive reactions! Once you get rid of the negative, you’ll realize that you never had any need for it in the first place.
Plan and Concretize. The next step to thoughts should always be action, or else our positive thoughts will go to waste. The action doesn’t have to be anything too sudden or drastic; it can just be as simple as putting pen to paper and writing down what you want. For example, you want to get a higher-paying job, your own house, lose weight? Jot down the directions you want your life to take. What you do is simply fill in the blanks: “Where am I now: _____” and “Where I Want to Be _____”. Not only have you made a tangible action towards the right direction, but this will serve as a reminder for you. List down your goals, put them up where you can see them and include pictures and notes about these goals. Make your plan and make it now. This will be your map.
Visualize. What’s the difference between the Secret and wishful thinking? Visualization. Don’t just think it–believe it! The things you want are real, and the things you want done are accomplished. See the end results of your wishes being granted. Take some visual stimulation from your life map.
Receive. Sometimes, we are so used not having our wildest wishes come true that we are simply not programmed to receive it when given to us. Whether it’s guilt or the feeling that we don’t deserve it, just simply let them go and receive.
Appreciate. Smile and acknowledge what you’ve been given. Appreciate your gift to the fullest and enjoy. Keep remembering that what you desire must be your reality, that they are as true in the future as they are now to you.
Share. Be grateful to the universe, and to do that, you must share your blessings with others and contribute to spreading positive energy. It will help create a cycle of continuous giving and receiving.
