Describe the direction of electric current and the direction of electron flow ?

1 Answer

Answer :

: The conventional direction of electric current is taken from higher voltage to lower voltage or from the positive layer of the electric cell to the negative layer. But in fact the flow of electricity is due to the negative charge i.e. the flow of electrons , so the actual direction of the flow of electricity is from the lower voltage to the higher voltage i.e. from the negative plate of the electric cell to the positive plate.
