UN Human Rights Commission: It was set up by the Economic and Social Council. The Commission held its first full fledged session in January, 1947. It had been given the task of drafting an International Bill of Human Rights. The bill drafted by the Commission was presented to the General Assembly which adopted it on December 10, 1948. The Commission has many working groups to investigate Human Rights problem in different countries.
