Last Answer : answer:I personally believe that humans highly function on their survival instinct, even in modern society, and that advancement thereof is just adaptation and part of that instinct. Thinking that, my guess is ... try being nice, certainly not but none of that is the point. Just my erm, thoughts.

Whatever you hear in your head is your own thoughts, except for when you are reading other people’s minds. Then you hear their thoughts as if they were your own.

Last Answer : I think most good modern zoos try to make the animals comfortable; prisons, not so much.

Last Answer : No. But of course your actions result in what you do. Example if you keep robbing houses you’re eventually going to get caught. There’s bad things that happen to good people…like dying of a disease.

Last Answer : My mum had a baby girl along with three boys, tragically, my sister died at just 6 weeks old, born with a hole in her heart. I was only 4yrs old at the time & have no memory of her. Later, my ... her, she's amazingly happy & loads of fun, but sometimes I just think wow mum, you're my fucking hero!

Last Answer : answer:This is a really good question. Everyone has different beliefs on what it is that makes us conscious, some say it is God that produces our individual consciousness. Others think there ... with a willing suspension of disbelief, eventually rationality takes hold. And again we are searching.

Description : How different is your true self? Has this changed over your life?

Last Answer : The differences seem less and less significant with time. Not that there are fewer differences now, more that the differences just don't much matter. I don't care anymore about distinguishing myself in this ... decades ago. I don't want to be special. Our common ordinariness is good enough for me.

Last Answer : I’m not sure. My dog sees herself in glass reflections, not mirrors for some reason, and kind of barks at the reflection. (Really more of a bfff, she doesn’t bark). She acts like it is another dog in the house.

Last Answer : It is my belief that people need to learn how to think. Silly as that may sound, I believe the same thing about loving. We humans confuse all types of things. There are many levels of thinking…

Last Answer : They say we only use about 10% of our brains now so there should be about 90% there ready for us to tap into as soon as we can figure out how.

Last Answer : Until they get some kind of FTL drive working, outer space might not hold a lot of promise. I’m all for building a gigantic ship that can be home to generations of explorer’s, though. As long as it’s designed by Hollywood and not a submarine builder.

Last Answer : Proof is impossible.

Description : For those who have read Eckhart Tolle: Are you able to separate yourself from your ego and observe your thoughts?

Last Answer : I really wish I could. It would make my life that much less chaotic if I could be aware of myself, but like you..as soon as I become aware of myself I lose it again. Might be worth practicing though.
