Since there is no way to delete on fluther, what if someone wants or needs to erase their internet presence?
Last Answer : As far as I remember, the Fluther team is only willing to help you in a specific case/question/answer. I can't think of an example right now, but I guess it would have to be something ... threads. The only workaround I can think off is asking to change your profile name, to one unrecognisable.

Last Answer : How does the community feed work? Just fine. How does the chat rooms work. They don’t. I think the feed is great. Small accomplishments stay up for a few minutes, big ones for a couple days.

Why does it seem to at least myself , people get pissed off if someone asks the same question twice?
Last Answer : When Fluther started and all the facets were working, we weren't allowed to repeat a question no matter how old the original was. There was a computer function that would first take you to ... make certain your question hadn't been asked before. Only then were you allowed to post your question.

Last Answer : One of the reasons I like this site is the requirement that we write correctly.

Last Answer : Fluther gives me meaning, is my home, and my watering hole. Also my grammar and writing style has improved since the first days as Talljasperman in 2009.

Last Answer : PMs default to private. That means only you and other person can see the messages you exchange. Noone else can see them. There is an option to make a message public which means anyone on here can see it. But some one has to manually click the “public” button.

How long can it take to get to 10k?
Last Answer : It used to be possible in just a few months. Now it would probably take a lot longer because the user base is so much smaller than it used to be. There's a cap on how many points you can be ... we're here for. Really about all the score means is a rough indicator of how long you've been around.

Do you want negative or positive comments from anyone about your Qs & As to be in PM?
Last Answer : …I can’t imagine a comment or a question etc., about any of my questions or answers (no matter how negative), that I want posted in a private space. I want it all in the open. Is there anything wrong with that?

If a question gets sent back for editing, can it be labeled as such by the moderators?
Last Answer : Depending on the situation, we either remove answers that wouldn't make sense after the edit or leave a [Mod Says] that the question was changed. If we missed one, please flag it and let us ... for us to keep track of those situations since we aren't involved with them until someone notifies us.

Last Answer : Actually, it has suffered. Not that I blame Fluther, but my own advancing age. Sometimes a new comment appears on an old post, and I will scroll back to see how I answered. Often I am surprised at the wit and wording, and wonder if I could still match it.

Last Answer : Like you, I find Fluther a congenial place to hang out with generally interesting people and to put it crudely shoot the shit. Although I rarely need the same emotional support now that I did when my ... and the mods. They take a licking and keep on ticking and I truly appreciate the work they do.
