answer:In general, I don’t dream. Every now and then I will have a brief vision when I am on the edge of sleep, but it never lasts long enough to develop coherence or a plot. However I can have some very vivid imaginings in deep meditation states – the difference is that I control the storyline when this happens. I ask the questions, and the imaginings provide the answers. Dreams and nightmares are, as far as I can tell, visual representations of what is running through the back of your mind during the day. While you are awake, try to re-write the dream. Think up a storyline that begins the same, but choose a point at which it should change direction, and re-write the ending. The more you believe that this is the ‘actual’ path of the dream, the more likely it is to penetrate your mind to the depth required to manifest itself in dreams.
