We read to both of our kids and it was a magical time. Honestly, what feels better than a little one leaning on you while looking at the pictures of a book you are reading aloud? We did not watch much TV usually choosing to read something. Both of my kids were early readers and it has stuck with them to adulthood. Reading is truly the gift that keeps on giving.
