answer:There are a variety of competitors to the FitBit. But they are all in the same price range, between $100 and $150. I have a Fitbit Charge HR. The heart rate monitor function seems to be the thing that pushes the devices to a higher price point. It is definitely worth shopping around. (I got a deal on mine through work, you can occasionally get 20% off a FitBit product at REI during sales).
