: Rules for performing Tahajjud prayers Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu Anhu said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said , (Muslim , Tirmidhi , Nasai) Allaah instructed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to perform tahajjud prayers especially at night. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning ) : (Surah Muzammil: Verses 1-2) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) instructed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to perform this prayer five times before it became obligatory in the early days of Islam. Priyonabi was not instructed to pray for some time but to stay up all night except for some part of the night. Among those who can go to Paradise without it , there is a class of people who perform Tahajjud prayers with care. This prayer has been urged in different suras of the Qur'an. That is why after the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) the Companions , the saints and the scholars of all ages, including the Tabei and the Tabei, spent the night in the Tahajjud prayers . During the Tahajjud prayers, the Salatul Lail or Tahajjud prayers can be offered from the time of performing the rak'at-ish prayers until the dawn of Sadeq. However, it is better to perform tahajjud prayers after midnight. It is best to perform tahajjud prayers on the last night. - Tahajjud prayers can be read from 2 to 12 rak'ats. The lowest is 2 rak'ats and the highest is 12 rak'ats. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to recite Tahajjud for 8 rak'ahs. So it is better to recite 8 rak'ats of Tahajjud. However, it is not necessary to read. If possible, perform 12 rak'ats of tahajjud. However, it is better to perform 8 rak'ats. If it is not possible to perform 4 rak'ats. If that is not possible, then it is better to perform tahajjud even if it is 2 rak'ats. However, there is no qaza of tahajjud prayers. The intention of tahajjud prayers is to make the intention of the tahajjud to perform the two rak'ats of tahajjud. Rules for performing Tahajjud prayers - The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to perform these prayers in two rak'ahs. This prayer can be recited with any sura. However, he used to perform prayers in a long kirt. Therefore, it is better to perform Tahajjud in a long Qur'an. - Tahrima in takbeer is intentionally tied with 'Allahu Akbar'. - Then the baby falls. - Reading Surah Fatiha. - Reciting Surah Milano or Kerat. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to recite a long kiraat. Then bow and prostrate like other prayers . In this way, after performing the second rak'at, Tashahhud , Darood and Doa are recited and the prayers are completed by returning the salutation. In this way it is better to perform 8 rak'ats of Tahajjud prayers in two rak'ats. May Allaah grant the Muslim Ummah the Tawfeeq to perform the Tahajjud prayers properly at the last watch of the night. Amen.
