I got this problem when I changed the build settings so it was not pointing to the simulator. First try switching to Debug or Release build, whichever is the opposite of what you are using now. Whatever you changed in the build settings may only be screwed up in one of those. If that fails, make a new project and copy your files into it. The build settings are saved in the .xcodeproject file so you need to get rid of it. ”
