answer:Abiword: http://www.abisource.com/ or Openoffice: http://www.openoffice.org/ Both will do you fine. Openoffice is more of a full Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), Abiword is just word processing. I've heard good things about it, but have not personally used it.
