Ah….My husband and I tried for THREE YEARS to get pregnant the first time. It was heart breaking, and I feel your pain. What did it for me, I think, was that we finally went in to discuss invitro (sp?) and other things…and as we were talking the female gynecologist suddenly got up from behind her desk, came to me, knelt down and took my hand saying, “Are you alright? It’ll be alright!” I guess I must have looked so….devastated that it showed and I didn’t realize it. She was SOOOO comforting and compassionate and reassuring that I relaxed about it for the first time…...and I swear I conceived that very night!!! Well, the rest of the story….when Corrie was 15 months old we decided we better get a head start on the next one…..only…..it only took about 5 minutes the second time! :) Boy, i was taken totally aback! Just today Corrie was teasing her bro (she’s 23, he’s 21) AGAIN that he was an accident (running joke!) and he said, “No. I was a pleasant surprise!” LOL!! Which is really the truth! So, really…..easier said than done, but…try to relax. I know! Try NOT to get pregnant! (BTW—I don’t know what PCOS is….).
