If you legally purchased them from the apple store a call to apple should allow you to repurchase the songs and movies at no charge (apple is cool like that). If not you will have to either open your apple tv and place the hard drive in an enclosure and copy them back to your computer or if your very tech savvy there is a way to ssh into you apple tv. http://www.appletvhacks.net/2007/03/24/enable-ssh-and-afp-on-your-apple-tv/
