Uhhm, do you still have the Leopard disks that came with your mac? You could always repair leopard and still keep all your files and user settings using the Archive and Install Feature. basically it simply re-builds all the core leopard files but you still get to keep all your old settings and files. You can read more about it here. The reaon I’d recommend this is because other then terminal, you still have a bunch of crucial apps on the utilities folder and it’s nice to have them Also I dont know if this work, but like you could try having someone send you there terminal.app and see if that works. I dont think it would but its worth a try. FYI, in the future you should consider using AppZapper
