I have a LX3, but have not even heard of the K version. It is not listed on dpreview. I think that it must be more than a black colour as mine is black and I have had it since the initial release. Found it! The LX3 k is a Taiwanese only version, not Japanese. They are much cheaper and available in black only whereas the Japanese LX3 comes in black or silver. The full model designation is LX3GT-K.
