Sure, all the time. There are many restaurants that everyone seems to love that I cannot stand. Just a couple days ago, I heard really good things about a performance of Romeo and Juliet, so I bought tickets to it, only to leave after the first half and wish I left sooner. (Technically it wasn’t bad so much as unoriginal in every way). I’ve had teachers where I signed up for their class because I heard they were awesome, only to find them the poorest of the bunch.
