answer:It looks like no one is going to jump in. I’d say one of the best things you could do to understand e-commerce is to start a store. Sell something you’re interested in and just set it up from start to finish. There’s no better way to understand the challenges and options available than to do it from the perspective of the people you’re hoping to help. Other than that, find a cart you like and start working with it, even if you never publish a store, act like you are or find someone who needs one that you can build. I don’t think there’s an easy way to figure it out other than to just do it.
