New (replacement) windows: vinyl vs. wood?

1 Answer

Answer :

If you want ro be able to paint the vinyl, make sure that the type of windows you get ARE Paintable. Not all vinyl is. I live in one of the hottest places on the planet and we are contractors. We have never had any complaints about vinyl windows, but I think they have only been out less than 20 years. The new retrofit vinyl windows are super easy to install, even if you have a stucco house.
