With the new Facebook timeline, how do you edit it, so that only certain people can see your status updates?

1 Answer

Answer :

answer:Next to the entries there’s a little grey icon (somewhere near the right hand side). If you click on that, you can “Customize” it and change who sees and doesn’t see the posts. The bottom portion will be to block specific people (or you can use lists that contain people). If you create a new post and set the customization before you post it then that will (as far as I’ve seen) become the default for every new post afterwards. That little icon can change, by the way. I don’t remember what it looks like when it’s set to “Friends” or “Friend of Friends.” When it’s a custom setting it looks like a little gear. Sometimes it looks like a sun, or something. Click around and you’ll find it.
