answer:I guess the biggest advantage to Blu-ray is that the disk holds far more data, so not only is the resolution better, there’s more space for more featurettes. Of course you pay quite a bit extra for that. I own a large screen, hi-def TV and frankly don’t see all that much difference in quality between the two. Others will disagree, but as much as I love movies, I don’t see the point in paying the extra money. Caveat: I do own several Blu-Rays of movies I especially love, some of them in 3D because my TV has that feature.
