Does anyone live in or around Houston? Can you tell me what it's like?

I don’t live there, but I have been there. It’s big! Lot’s of traffic. Warm climate (obviously). I know a few people who live in or around Houston and they all like it. They all have lived in several different places in the US. That probably doesn’t help much. Sorry I don’t have more specifics.
