Doing one’s own hair is a bit like being a sculpter. Each person’s hair has its own texture, volume, and issues. You have to be able to look at your hair, and find what wants to come out. Following a youtube demonstration only shows you how someone else does their hair. I am sorry for your disappointing experience.
