This is my mother in law modelling my Flying Spaghetti Monster hat. She has no idea who the FSM is, and would probably be upset if I told her. I find this to be completely hilarious. So some software will allow you to import photos from ... to iPhoto's specially managed directories, in which case using the builtin import function makes more sense.
