Basically a technician prepares blueprints for artisans to perform work.Assist engineers with their work.Technician work is to ensure that a particular machine is kept in a good condition,properly working.For one to be a technician needs a diploma in engineering.Some technicians does calcutions,my other guy is working in the electrical department,so he calculate everything based on the electrical components of theirs.
An artisan is the one who does work practically,ordered by technicians to do so.The are different kinds of artisans,fitters,boilermakers,welders,riggers, electricians etc&etc.For one to be a fully qualified artisan need a trade test.
