I don't know what AT&T policy is but with Comcast I can get up to 3 free adapters and I pay for the one digital cable box. So, I get cable on 4 tvs. The 3 tvs with the adapters don't get the same channels as the one with the digital box but at least I get cable on them and I don't have to pay extra for it. AT&T may have the same thing. Call up their customer service rep and ask.
