A typical table for a Shabbat evening meal will have: Candlesticks for 2 or more candles, **** glasses and a bottle of ****, and challah (a special Sabbath bread) with a challah cover. There should also be enough good food to make a festive meal. Before sunset, the candles should be lit, and they should be big enough to burn throughout the meal. Kiddush is said to begin the meal, with ,a blessing for the ****, everyone drinks a glass, then a blessing for the bread, and everyone takes a bite.
