If I have an illegal website and sell it. Can they prosecute me for it, maybe in a month, a year? Even though I haven't owned the site in a long time?

what is an illegal site? child porn? black gambling? fraudulent eshop? of course they can prosecute you. the crime has been committed, it is already punished for the (proven) intention to commit the crime (as if it happened). (tuxedo)
