repair of the wall after demolition

hello, I demolished the passage between the intermediate suit and the kitchen, I scraped the painting 30 cm on each side from the edge of the passage. Is it necessary to scrape the whole wall from the painting (2 layers), or after smoothing the stucco the transition will not be visible ?? thanks for the advice

It depends on the skill of the mason. I would probably scrape off the painting.
