Is it safe to replace the catalyst with DTC p0420?

If I get error code p0420, which indicates a catalyst failure, is it the only way to replace the catalyst? Can't be fixed somehow? I have no "desire" to pay 200 thousand forints somehow.

Answer :

There is a company that advertises that with DTC p0420, they will repair the catalyst and do not need to be replaced. According to them, you can swim for 30,000 HUF. Of course, I don't know if the real error will be solved or just knocked something out of the catalyst, the error code will definitely disappear anyway. For someone, that's enough. :) They are HERE.
