: Toiletry refers to an object or material that is used for cleaning or body care. Toiletries include toothpaste , soap , shampoo , perfume , deodorant , body lotion, etc. The production of two toiletries, toothpaste and shampoo is discussed below. Toothpaste can be prepared in many ways using many ingredients. The main ingredient in toothpaste is usually baking soda or sodium bicarbonate. It can remove stains and plaque from tooth decay. Other ingredients include glycerin and salt water (or hydrogen peroxide and coconut oil) to kill bacteria. And peppermint, an essential oil for flavor, can be added. Toothpaste is made by mixing these ingredients in certain proportions. For example, in the case of peppermint toothpaste, the ratio of baking soda , glycerin , salt and peppermint is about 18: 9: 1: 1. Hair shampoo can be easily prepared using many different ingredients. The main ingredient in shampoos is usually liquid organic soap (such as Liquid Castille soap) which removes dirt from the hair. This liquid soap contains potassium hydroxide and glycerin along with olive, hemp and palm oil. In the case of herbal shampoos, herbs such as rose petals or rose petals , rosemary , aloe vera, etc. are used. A little olive or coconut oil can be used to retain water vapor in the hair. Vitamin E is also used for hair nutrition and essential oils for fragrance (such as rosemary , peppermint oil). Shampoo is made by mixing these ingredients in certain proportions.
