A joystick is an input device with a bar placed on a rectangular base. There is a computer connection with the base. A small light on the monitor screen is called a cursor. The joystick allows the cursor to be moved anywhere on the screen at will. Joysticks are commonly used to play computer games. Joysticks are also used in virtual reality and various simulations.
