What is semiconductor memory ?

1 Answer

Answer :

Made of semiconductor material or semiconductor. Semiconductor memory is much shorter and cheaper than a magnetic core. This memory is called random access memory as the time of reading or writing information of any memory is equal. At the heart of this memory is a tiny logic circuit with two states known as flip-flops. It has already been said that such a circuit used for storing bits is called a memory cell. Inside the main memory of a computer there are numerous such memory cells. With the help of control signal, it is possible to save and read bit-0 or bit-1 in the memory cell.
