Each computer amplifies that signal and sends it to the next computer. And in topology data packets always flow in the same direction (usually clockwise). There is a system called token passing in the token ring network. A short message , known as a token , rings in the ring. When the token is with the computer, that computer can send data to the network. Once the data is sent, the token will be released again and it will continue to rotate in the ring.
