We can sort 10 into 5 pairs. So 10 is even. So if there is zero (0) in a single place , it is even. But , before zero (0) , if there is no number , only zero (0) is even or odd ? Honestly , zero (0) is actually an even number. To be an even number, all the conditions follow zero (0). Even numbers are numbers that are divisible by 2. E.g. 4/2 = 2 ; 6/2 = 3 ; Therefore , 4 , 6 are even numbers. But if we don't have 3 , what do we get? 3/2 = 1.5 ; It is not infinitely divisible. Now if we do n't have zero (0) , what do we get ? 0/2 = 0 ; It is infinitely divisible. So pair it! Let's make it a little easier , if we multiply 2 by anything, what we get is even. For example: 2 x 1 = 2 , 2 x 2 = 4 , 3 x 2 = 6 , 4 x 2 = 6 ; 2 , 4 , 6 , 7 are even numbers. Now , what do we get if we multiply 2 by zero (0) ? 2 x 0 = 0 ; That is , zero (0) pairs.
