Last Answer : There are none that I’m aware of. I hand out spare cash to homeless people at times. Not much but all I can do. Why the heck would people be penalized for that? Has society sunk that far down into the dregs?

Last Answer : Loitering around where you need to go and aggressive panhandling. I was homeless for a week and I still didn’t go to the free meals, because I was bullied as a small child and I stay away from certain groups, especially adult men. I can’t go even now and I am still scared of being confronted.

Last Answer : I believe in putting my support with the agencies that deal with the greatest number of people. To give a hand out to a person on the street is not really helping them.

Last Answer : I think the greatest skill you would need to have is to be able to humble yourself enough to ask for help or money, one that I now lack but wonder if it would kick in in such a dire situation.

Last Answer : Unfortunately, I subscribe to the thought expressed in your last paragraph. I trust my wife and daughter – and that’s it. Everyone else stays at arm’s length. So while I interact with oodles of very nice people every day, the idea of anyone else living under our roof would never cross my mind.
