Description : What did Neil Armstrong say when he landed on the moon?

Last Answer : I’d like to think it was exactly as The Onion showed.

Description : What would it take to build a massive inter galactic space station and house even one hundred thousand people, not even 1% of the US population?

Last Answer : Make it really, really, really big. Call it ‘planet’.

Description : UFO believers, how do you think ET gets here?

Last Answer : answer:Dark matter. (prove me wrong ;-))

Description : Someone offers you and your partner a last-minute ticket (great deal!) to board a generation starship. Would you go on this trip?

Last Answer : I’m in. I’ve always loved the idea of space travel, but unfortunately I’m not quite as strong in math and science as I’d need to be for the Government-sponsored space programs. Plus, my husband’s a “nerd” too, so he’d be psyched.

Description : The famous physicist Stephen Hawking once said: "It's spaceflight or extinction." Why do so many people think space exploration is not very important?

Last Answer : In my non-scientific opinion, I believe that if we spent the money wasted on space exploration on figuring out how to solve our earthly problems, there would be no need to go to space. We are the human animal, a product of earth, I’d stay here and die before I went to space.

Description : Sending along plenty of resources - If astronauts agree, should we save a lot of money and give them a one-way ticket to Mars?

Last Answer : I could swear you’ve asked this before No, any trips to Mars need to include a return trip or efforts to set up a permanent base. Sending these guys to live out the rest of their lives on Mars with no support from Earth is unethical.

Description : Suppose engineers are able to build a space elevator within the next 40 years, would you enter the elevator on the ground floor and press the button for floor 100,000?

Last Answer : Of course, as long as the chance of dying horribly was less than 10%. Even so, if something happened and you fell, that’d be one hell of a base jump. :) Or you know, Tower of Terror. Depending.

Description : Is it possible to create an Earthlike atmosphere on the Moon, to make it habitable for humans?

Last Answer : answer:It depends if you're going for the life-support systems or the real thing I guess. Building some artificial dome and grow enough plants to form oxygen would be something that can be created within ... killing each other to survive. I think it would end in some mad-max weirdo stuff up there
