Last Answer : It’s never been a big deal to me and still isn’t except for its being my younger son’s birthday. It is a big deal around here locally with parades, people wearing green all week and lots of drunken corned beef and cabbage. Just doesn’t do anything for me although I like Celtic folk music.

Last Answer : I follow a personal superstition of not wanting to be awake when the clock ticks over. Even if it means dosing myself heavily with sleep medication like Valium.
