Describe mitosis in detail

1 Answer

Answer :

Mitosis a type of cell division that results in two daughter cells each having the same number and kind of chromosomes

 the number of chromosomes double during interphase

 whole process is completed into four phases

 1. Prophase

2. Metaphase

 3. Anaphase.

 4. Telophase

 During mitosis when the nucleus of parent cell divide two set of the chromosomes are distributed equally in the two daughter nuclei

 It involves the division of body cells

 After nuclear division a shallow groove arises in the middle of cytoplasm which deepens further and divide the cell into two daughter cells , each having nucleus
