Who in 1887 did white business leaders force to change Hawaii's constitution to grant voting rights.They built schools and stuff.Andrew Carnegie, a Scottish immigrate, was the richest man in the early 1900's and he built libraries and museums all throughout the United States. He also donated money to various causes. The Rockefeller family also supported causes and politically ran for offices. Going back to the 1700's Jefferson donated his 6,000 books to begin the Library of Congress, and Dolly Madison planted many of the trees still in the White House gardens. Ben Franklin invented things to help society and began schools, fire departments, and the postal service.
