answer:This year’s thing is to buy a bunch of onesies and fabric markers (and/or other craft items) and have everyone design a onesie (sp?) for the baby. We had a jack and jill shower (the guys played poker), but the dad got to judge the designs and pick the top three. The lucky designers got little door prizes like Starbucks gift cards, etc. It went over pretty well with the exception of one or two ladies who freaked at having to be creative (you can add a hint of a warning in the invite). I recommend getting cardboard forms to place inside the onesies. It keeps the thing in place while you draw on it. Hobby Lobby has them for regular t-shirts (or you can just get scrap cardboard). We traced a form for the size of the onesie, cut them out, and slipped the onesies on them prior to the shower. Also, most fabric markers or whatever require ironing to make them permanent. FYI.
