I’m going to put honesty and accountability on the same level of importance. Altruism (charity) is to me the only thing that can trump these, in some rare situations. But honesty and accountability are principles of integrity, obligations that take precedence over luxuries like hope, love and faith. Of those three, hope is most important; I think it’s a prerequisite for personal happiness. Love is great, but one can also live a happy life alone, so that goes under hope. As for faith… well… ...let’s not go there.
