Answer :

Was it the male part of the cable or the female part of the drive? Tweezers and a new cord should work if it is the male part on the cable. If it is the female part in the enclosure you will probably need to buy a new enclosure and swap out the actual hard drive inside. You might be able to open up the enclosure and solder it back together. But a cheap enclosure is 20 bucks and it wouldn’t be hard to swap the drive out. The good news is that your data should be safe. And any little computer shop will put the drive in a new enclosure for cheap.
