It is probably a fan. They are cheap and easy to replace. Or it is dirty and a toothbrush and a can of compressed air will fix it. (the fans) But it would be a good time to back-up all of your important stuff. You never know if your computer will start the next time you try to turn it in. edit :: I type stuff twice when I am drunk.
