it’s actually recommended that you carry your wallet in a pocket other than the back pocket as it can contribute to back pain over time. When you sit, and you sit on the wallet, you’re slightly off balance, sometimes causing back pain. My best guess about the right pocket is because the majority of people are right-handed.
