I know for a fact it works on other types of warts, so why not? My son and my husband each had a wart on one finger. I’d read about the banana peel “cure,” and we decided to give it a try. Each night, I’d put a piece of banana peel over the wart and wrap it in surgical tape to keep it in place. In the morning, I’d take the banana peel off. We did that for a few weeks and for both my husband and son, the warts gradually disappeared. Even after only a couple of days, we could see a difference in the warts. Neither of them had any pain or discomfort during this whole process. This was months ago, and still no sign of warts coming back. My husband had the wart on his finger for years, and using over-the-counter wart treatments had never worked. My son, who was five at the time, had his wart for a few months before we tried the banana thing. There’s no reason not to give it a try. If it doesn’t work for you, you could try some medication or see a doctor.
