To answer the question: Does it have an ethernet card in it? You could transfer files off of it via local sharing or through something like Skydrive or Dropbox. Other than that, if it has CD burner in it, you could try burning a CD with the files on it. On an unrelated note: Have you ever considered turning it into NAS (Network Attached Storage)?
