I don’t know. That happens to me occasionally. I don’t know why. My eyetv tuner doesn’t recognize the USB ports on my mac sometimes. It tells me I need to have it plugged into a USB 2.0, not 1.0 or 1.1 or whatever the error message says but my Mac USB ports are 2.0. And then it doesn’t do it. Both are intermittent problems. I don’t know what causes it. But when it happens I just charge it with the wall charger. It always syncs though, just like yours.
