Step back…and breathe. A long hot bath always helps. Take a break from reading the news. Count your blessings and write them down. Think of those worse off then yourself. Talk it over with someone. Throw yourself into your chores. Push yourself in your favorite hobby. Remember victories in your life. Each morning, think of something good to do that day. Take a walk…get it off your mind somehow. If there is something you can do to ease the worry, then do so. For example, if you are worried about a bill, call the company and work something out. I was in the same boat recently. You just have to stand up to your inner demons and say enough is enough. You need to stay standing no matter how painful it is. Otherwise, those worries will just keep runnin’ free.
