On the Vicks website for the NyQuil liquid medicine it says the inactive ingredients include “acesulfame potassium, alcohol, citric acid, D&C Yellow 10, FD&C Green 3, FD&C Yellow 6, flavor, high fructose corn syrup, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, purified water, saccharin sodium, sodium citrate.” On the inactive ingredient list for the gel caps it lists “D&C Yellow No. 10, FD&C Blue No. 1, gelatin, glycerin, polyethylene glycol, povidone, propylene glycol, purified water, sorbitol special, titanium dioxide,” but no mention of alcohol.
