Best way to contact bank of america about going out of town?

1 Answer

Answer :

answer:You can email customer service online, but calling is better. When you call, ask them to make a note on your account saying that you will be out of country. They’ll probably ask where you are going and for how long. Despite putting a note on your account, they may ignore it and shut down your card anyway. That happens sometimes, so make sure you bring the customer service number with you and have more than one way to access money (credit card or cash card). Personally, I would probably email and call. Because I’m paranoid about that stuff. I’ve been out of country a few times and never had a problem with them, but I’ve heard horror stories.
